Four white lion cubs were shown to the media at the Jurques game park, Northwestern France, 23 May 2007. They were born 20 May, it was the first delivery from the mother Nyala and Timba, both from South Africa. They are a rare species since only 30 are kept behind bars worldwide, moreover other white lions in the wild, are at risk as a result of their coat. AFP PHOTO MYCHELE DANIAU.
